Wheels of Harmony

Big Sky Center for the Arts

The Arts Council of Big Sky and Opera Montana invite you to a free community performance of Wheels of Harmony — a statewide educational tour that brings three Indigenous musicians to schools across Montana, sharing Indigenous culture and music alongside traditional opera.

This year’s featured artists include Tenor Bo Shimmin (Pueblo of Acoma), Soprano Kira Apaachuaq Eckenweiler (Inupiaq), and Pianist/Composer J Cruise Berry (Chickasaw). These classically trained musicians will perform a dynamic mix of traditional music, classical opera, musical theatre, and modern classical works from Indigenous composers.
