Fused Glass Garden Stake Workshop

Instructor: Kayelynn Hess

Date: July 7, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM–8:30 PM
Duration: One-day workshop
Location: Big Sky Center for the Arts, 77 Lone Peak Drive

Explore the art of glass fusion in our Fused Glass Garden Stake Workshop taught by Kayelynn Hess. Participants will create a floral-themed garden stake while learning the fundamentals of fused glass design. Through hands-on instruction, students will explore basic glass cutting and layering techniques, as well as important concepts such as glass safety, different types of kiln firings, and glass compatibility.

This workshop offers a fun and approachable introduction to kiln-formed glass while allowing participants to create a colorful and functional piece of garden art. No prior experience is necessary.

All materials and tools are provided. Finished pieces will require firing in a kiln and will be available for pickup once completed.

Any class payments above the suggested class fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
